Highlights from CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE 2017

This year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE tradeshows, held March 7-11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, were a huge success for construction professionals and manufacturers from around the world. With the multiple shows rolled up into one location, this event represents a trifecta for professionals in the fluid power and construction industries.

Each year, more than 2,500 exhibitors, including Magnetek, pack more than 2.5 million square feet with displays highlighting the most advanced products the industry has to offer.5558477927_fff90274a3_o

During this year’s week-long event, more than 130,000 industry professionals from over 150 countries spent time exploring new technology and marveling at the colossal exhibits that stretched the length of three city blocks. Attendance numbers at this year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE reflect the energy and growth that are driving this industry forward in new and innovative ways.

DemoMagnetek’s interactive display gave visitors a chance to take a closer look at our wireless controls, including our hands-on demo featuring our Flex Pro transmitter and patented MHR Radio Controller, and a sneak peak at upcoming wireless controls – take a look.

The event also provided an incredible backdrop and opportunity to unveil Magnetek’s new line of cable reels. These cable reels deliver a superior solution to effectively and compactly manage large lengths of cable. Our newest product line offers both spring driven and motorized electric cable reels, as well as slip ring assemblies.

Another highlight of the show for Magnetek was an interview by OEM Off-Highway Magazine with Ben Stoller, Director of Radio Controls, exploring the safety and efficiency benefits of wireless control technology. Check it out!
